Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect
When you use Daava, we collect:
- Your name, address, phone number, and email address
- Answers you provide during the intake questionnaire
- Payment confirmation details (order ID, payment ID)
We do not collect or store your credit card, debit card, or UPI details. All payment processing is handled securely by Razorpay.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to:
- Generate your legal document
- Deliver the document to your email
- Process your payment
- Provide customer support if needed
3. Data Retention
For users without an account: your data is retained for 90 days after document generation, then permanently deleted.
For users with an account: your data is retained until you request account deletion.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Daava:
- Anthropic Claude API— Your intake data is processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate your document. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
- Razorpay — Processes all payments securely. See Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — Delivers your document to your email address.
5. DPDPA Compliance
In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA): your intake information is processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate your document. By using Daava, you consent to this processing.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data

7. No Data Sales
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. Your data is used solely to provide the Daava service.
8. Grievance Officer
Grievance Officer: Ishaan Sethi, hello@daava.co.in. We will respond to all privacy-related complaints within 30 days as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Daava after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
